Quick Tip: Drawstrings

I'm making some drawstring pouches for my charity stitching right now, and it reminded me of a little trick to make them more practical.

If you make something where a drawstring weaves in and out of eyelets in the fabric, start putting in the drawstring in the middle of the eyelets and wrap or tie the string around that middle eyelet.  Then weave each side of the drawstring to the ends of the fabric.

By having the string tied to the fabric, it's much less likely to become separated from the fabric and lost.
